Social comedy by Ranveer Singh Jayeshbhai Jordaar was released worldwide today. Also starring Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah, the film is directed by Divyang Thakkar. The film centers on the protagonist, Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of the son of a Gujarati Sarpanch. Set in the background of a village, Ranveer in her titular role champions equal rights for men and women.

In a recent interview with a leading publication, Ranveer Singh said, “I think Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a very important film for the times we live in.
