SAN FRANCISCO (Associated Press) – Social media companies in the United States are giving some details as they share their plans to secure the midterm elections in November.

The company said it works with more than a dozen fact-checking organizations, including U.S.-based Politifact and Lead Stories, to root out misinformation. The company declined to say how many videos were verified on its network. He said he would use a combination of people and artificial intelligence to create propaganda as well as detect and deal with threats against election workers.

The platform’s chief security officer, Eric Han, said TikTok has also said it monitors influencers who break its rules by accepting money from the platform to promote political issues or candidates, an issue that was highlighted in the 2020 election.
